One of our favorite places in the city! Enjoy good beer and a large outdoor beer garden. Thursday night has Music Trivia, which is one of our favorite activities.
Seventh Son Brewing Co.
Another great Columbus brewery, and the site of our first date and engagement party! Both of us used to live within walking distance. Good beer, good patio and a rotating food truck.
Short North Arts District
Popular area to shop, eat and drink. Take a stroll down the street and see where you end up. Best places to eat: Bristol Republic, Forno (elite happy hour), Condado and Marcella's Best places to drink: Short North Tavern, Oddfellow's and Standard Hall
Columbus Clippers
Columbus' minor league baseball team. Can't guarantee they'll be in town, but the games are fun and cheap. Nice way to spend an evening.
Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Where we got engaged! Beautiful gardens indoor and outdoor. A nice spot for a stroll.
The Ohio State University
Take a stroll around academia where Jay claimed to study. Best spots to check out are The Oval, Mirror Lake, Ohio Stadium and the Ohio Union.
Scioto Mile Promenade
Great views of the city along the Scioto River. One of the locations of our engagement photo shoot. We also like to run together here!
German Village
Historic old village on the south side of Columbus. Jay used to live down there. The other location of our engagement photo shoot. Many places to eat and drink along the way. Lindey's has a great happy hour.
Crooked Can Brewing Co.
Food court style brewery with many different food options. Good beer and a large beer garden with music and games. Very close to the venue.
The Little Grand Market
Features ten exceptional local vendors, large bars perfect for socializing, and relaxing patios (with impressive) city views.
