Kristin and Jacob's story began long before they even realized it. They first met as kids at an overnight church camp, playing a game of hide and seek tag. A fitting start for two people who would eventually find their way back to each other. From 2014 to 2016, they attended the same high school and shared mutual friends, but never had the chance to truly connect. Years later, while Kristin was in college, Jacob reached out to see how she was doing. Their conversations quickly turned into long phone calls, and the two quickly found a strong connection. As they got to know each other better, they discovered something that felt almost too perfect to be real. Their families had lived just one county road apart their whole lives. They had been growing up side by side, crossing paths in ways neither of them realized until years later. It felt like God had been gently weaving their stories together all along, patiently waiting for the right moment to bring them together. After spending time reconnecting, Jacob asked Kristin if she would like to go on a date. Their first evening together included dinner at Dos Salsas, a local favorite for both of them, followed by a walk around the Georgetown square. It was a simple night filled with laughter and easy conversation, a perfect beginning to something truly special. Looking back, it’s clear how naturally everything fell into place. God had been gently nudging them toward each other for years, through shared spaces, familiar faces, and paths that nearly crossed, until the moment finally came when everything aligned. Now, Kristin and Jacob are beginning their life together, feeling grateful, excited, and ready for all that lies ahead.
