So crazy story, he swiped right first! We met on Bumble, because we're millennials and we were in the middle of a pandemic. His profile promised to take me for tacos and his dog (Gimli) was adorable so I was sold. We talked online for roughly a week about everything from our families to our favorite dinosaurs. After our first date, I knew he was someone I wanted to get serious with. Our first year together was spent falling in love, traveling every quarter and merging our fur family together. Now we are excited to share our next adventure: marriage!

On Valentine's Day, we planned a simple evening at home due to our crazy work schedules. Gordon came home with tulips and my favorite ice cream, Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream. After eating dinner, we decided to exchange gifts. When it came time for Gordon to give me my gift, he had me stand up and began to tell me how happy he's been this last year and how he loves the life we've built so far. Then he knelt on one knee and asked me to marry him. I emphatically said "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Paradise!
