Question

What is on the menu?

Answer

During the cocktail hour, guests will enjoy a charcuterie display and a selection of four appetizers. These will include meatballs, bacon wrapped scallops, beef wellington, and coconut shrimp. Dinner will be served as a dual service plated meal, featuring two entrees accompanied by two sides. Guests will also enjoy a Caesar salad to start the meal. The entrees will include cranberry glazed salmon and Chesapeake filet mignon and will be accompanied by brown sugar maple sweet potatoes and buttered broccoli. There will be a dessert bar featuring a variety of sweet treats for guests to enjoy. Options may include assorted pastries, cookies, cakes, and more.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions. Please indicate any allergies or special dietary needs on your RSVP. We will offer alternative meals to accommodate common dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian, vegan, and nut-free options. Please specify your needs when you RSVP. If you forget to mention your dietary needs on the RSVP, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements. Our catering team will be informed of all dietary requests and will take necessary precautions to prepare your meal safely.

Question

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar available at the reception. The open bar will be available from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The open bar will feature a selection of alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic options such as soft drinks and water. While we aim to offer a variety of drinks, certain specialty cocktails may not be available. Please feel free to ask the bartenders for more information. We encourage guests to drink responsibly and be mindful of their consumption.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests RSVP by October 31, 2025. This will help us finalize arrangements and ensure a wonderful experience for everyone. RSVPing by the deadline allows us to provide accurate numbers to our venue and caterers, ensuring that there is ample seating, food, and accommodations for all guests. You can RSVP directly on our wedding website or by returning the RSVP card included with your invitation. If you miss the deadline, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you! Please refer to your invitation for details regarding plus-ones. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding reception is primarily an adults-only event. However, children within the immediate family are welcome to attend. Immediate family includes children of siblings and close relatives who are part of the wedding party or directly involved in the ceremony. We understand that arranging childcare can be challenging. If this is a concern, please reach out to us to discuss any potential accommodations.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the Travel and Lodging page of the website. We have a block of rooms at the SpringHill Suites Harrisburg Hershey at a discounted rate that are available to be booked until October 15, 2025.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the church for the ceremony. Guests can park in the designated church parking lot. The reception venue also offers ample parking for all guests. You will find designated parking areas upon arrival. Both locations provide accessible parking spaces for guests with disabilities. Please ensure your vehicle displays the appropriate permit. Overnight parking is permitted at the reception venue although vehicles must be retrieved by 11:00 AM the following day.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we kindly request that guests adhere to a formal or semi-formal dress code for our church wedding ceremony. We encourage attire that is respectful of the church setting. While there are no strict color restrictions, we suggest avoiding white or overly bright colors to keep the focus on the bridal party. If you have any questions or concerns about your attire, please feel free to contact us. We are happy to provide guidance to ensure you feel comfortable and appropriately dressed.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Because the church is a sacred place, we kindly ask that you maintain a sense of proper decorum and reverence and limit photography during the ceremony. We also ask that you refrain from using flash photography. Please respect any signs or instructions from church staff regarding restricted areas. We ask that guests keep their devices on silent mode to maintain the solemnity of the ceremony. Please also be mindful of other guests and avoid obstructing their view.
