FAQs

Question

Are you still getting married in September?

Answer

We decided to postpone our wedding until September 3, 2021. We hope that you will save our new date and we look forward to celebrating with you next year!

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

You can RSVP on this website! For efficiency and environmental reasons, we’re collecting RSVPs here. Please let us know if you will be attending by August 1, 2021.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Here! See registry section of this site. We’re not registered at any retail stores. Though we’d love your help choosing items for our marital home, we feel grateful to have all the material goods we need. If you’d like to give us a gift, we will graciously accept contributions to our honeymoon fund.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Definitely! We don’t want you to miss a thing! There are also handicapped parking spaces right on Main st, the closest about a block away in front of Breaking Grounds coffee shop, as well as a drop off zone right in front of the building.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends in semi-formal/cocktail attire— think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie/sports coat.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

There is metered street parking on Main St. and a few small lots nearby within walking distance of Olio. We recommend arriving by rideshare if staying nearby.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’d love to meet your cousin/best friend/neighbor, but unfortunately, we are limiting our guest list to those who are closest to us. We both have large families and we’d like to celebrate with as many of them as possible on our wedding day. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We think kids are the most fun wedding guests! If your invitation states your child’s name or “+family,” they are welcome at our wedding.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! The entrance to the building is also where the bridal party will enter, so it’s imperative to arrive before the ceremony begins or you may end up accidentally walking down the aisle with a bride!

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

We will serve hors d’œuvre followed by a full meal and dessert. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any allergies or special diet accommodations that we should know about!

Question

I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Prior to the wedding, you may text Dimitra or I or contact us via Facebook Messenger; the day of the wedding, please contact our Day of Coordinator, Sarah Narcus, at 781-640-5994 and she will be happy to answer your questions while we prepare for the big day!
