If you have ever been an intern at The City Church you've heard the saying "everyone meets their future spouse in interns". Neither of us thought that could be true for ourselves, but then came guac night. Kristin hosted a guacamole-themed party at her apartment and invited all interns over to celebrate the beginning of the school year and that's the first time we met. After that, there was a trip to the state fair, many group dinners, weekly intern events, and lots of laughs shared that lead to the two of us becoming best friends. After a while, it became apparent to everyone (except for us) that we should start dating. Not too long after, we were inseperable. And the rest is history...
After Kristin had gone on a weekend trip to Vancouver, Canada to celebrate her birthday with her best friends, they decided to stop by her parents' house in Bellingham on the way back down to Seattle. On the drive, Kristin's friends convinced her they should stop for coffee. They went to Kristin and Corbin's favorite coffee shop that sits on a park with a panoramic view of the ocean. Once inside, Kristin was coerced upstairs to the balcony area where photos of her and Corbin were hung. Roses and a sweet note were sitting on a table waiting for Kristin. As she read the note, Corbin came up the stairs behind her and proposed after she turned around. We continued back to Kristin's parents' house where she was surprised once again with some of our closest friends and family waiting to celebrate the engagement. We laughed and danced the rest of the night and now we are so excited to dance away the night with you at our wedding!
