Sandy Hook Beach & Trails
Sandy Hook is 6 miles worth of public beach access and paved running trails. Sandy Hook is a Yorke family favorite for long runs! If you want a bite to eat after, check out the Mule Barn Tavern. FUN FACT: we got engaged at Sandy Hook! On the beach off parking Lot B BABY!
Hike or Run in Hartshorne Woods Park
A great local park for hiking and trail running. Our favorite is the Rocky Point Loop trail.
Walk Around Red Bank's Broad Street
Check out Red Bank's main street, home to the infamous Chinese restaurant Kristin and her sisters worked at for way too long, Beijing Bistro (formerly Temple). Other great spots to eat: Robinson Ale House, Bistro, or Yumi (our favorite for Sushi).
Get Your Lighthouse Fix
Cody's favorite for soft serve and italian ice. If you try their orange ice and vanilla soft serve you may never be the same. They also have a Red Bank location! Cash only!

A Walk Through Asbury Park
A New Jersey (and Springsteen fan) must! Walk the boardwalk in Asbury Park or visit The Stone Pony. The Wonder Bar is a fun spot for drinks, and Porta is great for lunch.
You Need a Rook Coffee
Coffee enthusiasts: please go to Rook. The Yorkes love a New Orleans or traditional Guatemala style. Rook has many locations - so use Maps to find the closest one to you!
And a Brennan's Sandwich
Cody genuinely gets upset if we come to New Jersey and don't get Brennan's. A deli with the NJ-style sandwiches of your dreams. Yorke family favorites include the 18 and the 26. Cody's latest obsession is the 10.
