Palmer Square is the hub of Princeton and a great place to walk around to do some shopping or even just people watch :) There are tons of great stores (both large retailers and small boutiques) and restaurants/bars. Make sure to take a picture with the famous Princeton Tiger in the middle of the square! Lululemon hosts a 3-5 mile run around Princeton every Saturday morning (all ages/levels welcome). Meet at the store at 8:50 AM for a 9:00 AM departure (check their website to confirm details)
Princeton is filled with history and this is one of the top spots to visit. Princeton Battlefield was the site of General Washington's first victory against the British Regulars on the field and was the turning point for the American Revolutionary War. You can visit the Thomas Clarke House, Princeton Battle Monument or even go to relax and picnic if it's a nice day. Just stop by one of the delis in town and take a quick uber/cab over (or even walk if want to stretch your legs!)
Visit Nassau Hall and walk around Princeton University's campus. Nassau Hall was also part of the battleground during the American Revolution, with both armies occupying it at one point. Nassau Hall eventually served as the nation's capitol, housing the Continental Congress. You may also recognize the campus from movies such as IQ, A Beautiful Mind, and Transformers
Take in Princeton with the experts! They host weekend public tours or will create a private, custom tour just for you
Do it for the 'gram and stop by this awesome sculpture park/museum. Grounds For Sculpture is situated on the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds and includes three of its major historic buildings. When you go to Grounds For Sculpture you can expect to find a constantly evolving collection of superb contemporary outdoor sculptures, 42 magnificently landscaped acres in which to stroll, rotating exhibitions in six indoor galleries and much more!
Located right in The Nassau Inn, this is another great spot to grab a bite to eat and some drinks. You'll find framed photos of some of Princeton's most famous alumni on the walls, a scuffed table Albert Einstein allegedly carved his name into, and behind the bar, an original Normal Rockwell mural
A trip to Princeton would not be complete without a stop at this famous sandwich shop! Consider a late night stop for "His", a cheesesteak with porkroll, or "Hers", a Sanchez (chicken fingers, french fries, mozzarella stick, cheese, and sanchez sauce).
Famed breakfast and lunch spot in town. Kristin would come here with her dad and her brother every Sunday and order the PJ's Two-Fer with chocolate chip pancakes :) Look closely for Cliff and Kristin's names carved into one of the booths
