We love this restaurant for both brunch and dinner. Feel free to tell the owner, Armando, that we sent you- he’ll be happy to take care of you. We love their soup, coliflor, beet salad, and our favorite cocktail is a Margarita called the Samaritana. Enjoy!
Great lunch spot for empanadas and both lentil and chicken and rice soups. Don’t skip trying a chocolate brigadeiro! They’re amazing bite sized chocolate balls full of sweetness.
Our favorite breakfast spot- a friendly greasy spoon.
Oak Park is home to Frank Lloyd Wright’s first home and studio (1889-1909) -the birthplace of an architectural revolution. Wright used his home to explore design concepts that contained the seeds of his architectural philosophy. In his adjacent studio, Wright and his associates developed a new American architecture – the Prairie style. The historic district surrounding the Home and Studio has the greatest number of Wright-designed residences worldwide.
