FAQs

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for details of our hotel block.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested for this celebration. We recognize that some guests may prefer to wear traditional "Sunday best" for the ceremony before transitioning to cocktail attire for the reception. You're absolutely welcome to embrace an outfit change and debut a second look, or simply wear the same outfit to both events—whatever makes you feel most comfortable and confident!

The ceremony will start at 2 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Question

Is there transportation provided to and from the hotel?

Answer

We're providing complimentary shuttle service between The Desmond hotel and our reception venue at Overbrook. Specific departure times will be shared with you soon. For travel to and from St. Patrick's Church and the hotel for the ceremony, guests are welcome to arrange their own transportation. The church is conveniently located just ten minutes from The Desmond. Our ceremony concludes around 2:30–2:45 p.m., and the reception begins at 4:30 p.m., giving you plenty of time to travel back to the hotel, check in, freshen up, and catch the shuttle to Overbrook.
