Kristin and Ben met at a church potluck for singles. Kristin was impressed with the home made bread that Ben brought. Ben took a bit longer, but was impressed with Kristin's intelligence, kindness, confidence, and humility, not to mention her amazing beauty!

We went on a hike to the Walls of Jericho on Labor Day, finishing a hike we had started as our first date. The weather was beautiful and there were wildflowers and dozens of butterflies along the creek. We stopped to rest and enjoy the view of the canyon walls in the very back of the canyon near the waterfall. Ben proposed, and Kristin said “yes!”
