Question

What is the Cookie Table and do we need to bring anything for it?

Answer

The cookie table is a beloved Pittsburgh wedding tradition (shoutout to the bride’s dad for passing this one down!). Instead of only having a traditional wedding cake, close friends and family contribute homemade cookies for a massive spread of sweet treats. If you’d like to be part of the cookie table, we’d love to have you! Please be sure to let the bride know ahead of time what kind of cookies you’ll be making. We have some allergies to keep in mind, so we need to know the ingredients in each batch. That said, please ONLY volunteer if you’re ABSOLUTELY sure you can commit to bringing cookies. We love the enthusiasm, but we also need to plan accordingly! Whether you’re baking or just enjoying, get ready for a seriously delicious dessert table.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This will be an adult-only celebration. We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep the event just for the grown-ups so everyone can enjoy the evening to the fullest!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation does not include a plus one, we kindly ask that you join us solo. We appreciate your understanding as we finalize our guest list!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you’ll be joining us by September 11. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

Parking for the venue is located just off of Church Street. Please note that the lot directly next to the venue is reserved for handicap and vendor parking only. All other guests can park just off Church Street, to the left of the roundhouse.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Elevated Cocktail Attire Dress to impress, but make it fun! We want everyone looking sharp while still feeling like themselves. Think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or sportscoats/suits with ties—dressy, but not stuffy. If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to wear that killer outfit, this is it. A few things to keep in mind: - No white, ivory, or anything close. Let’s not steal the bride’s thunder. - No jeans, shorts, or super casual wear. This isn’t a backyard BBQ. - Bonus points for bold colors, cool textures, or unique accessories! Basically—look good, feel good, and get ready to celebrate!

Question

Is it okay to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests **put their phones and cameras away during the ceremony**—we want everyone to be fully present in the moment with us. We’ve hired an amazing photographer to capture everything, and we promise there will be plenty of opportunities to take photos (and share them!) afterward. So sit back, soak it all in, and enjoy the moment—no screens needed!
