We're Getting Married!

Kristina and Brian met in a mostly nontraditional way... online! Kristina messaged Brian first but he quickly took the reigns and planned a magical first date of karaoke and dinner. Brian stole the show and proved to be an incredibly talented, fun (and more handsome) version of Michael Bublé. By the end of the night at Harbourside in Jupiter, Kristina knew Brian was the one her heart had been searching vigorously for. Their second date wasn’t any less thrilling, as Brian dared to have dinner with Kristina’s parents... on Christmas Eve. Not many men would be willing to travel to great lengths for a new, lucky lady. Since the very beginning, Brian has shined and showed Kristina chivalry is still very much alive.

So many things happened over the three years since Brian and Kristina's first date. They moved in together, adopted Bandit and Savannah, purchased their first home together, switched to new jobs, conquered Kristina's bachelor's degree, Brian's firefighter academy, and got through Brian's year long paramedic schooling. Brian decided it was time to take their relationship to the next level. With the help of his adoring parents, Brian planned the perfect proposal. Kristina and Brian traveled to the Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, with Kristina being under the impression they were going to a family/church event. They reached the top of a beautiful hilltop trail to take in a breathtaking lily pad pond and the Bok Tower Gardens. Brian had hired an incognito photographer to capture their moment. Kristina even thought the photographer was just a bystander. Brian lured Kristina to the pond where he got on one knee and asked her to marry him. How could she have said anything but YES?! The Bok Tower bells played in the background to seal the deal and ring in celebration.
