We kindly request that this be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating together!

Please no pictures at the ceremony. We will have a photographer and videographer and want to make sure they capture our special moments. We promise to share them. There will also be a photo-booth for guests!

Please RSVP by August 23rd. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate responses received after this date.

Please wear something black tie formal. The theme is “Old Hollywood” think long gowns, big jewelry, and black ties and suits. Please no jeans or tennis shoes. We recommend that the wedding party plans to arrive on Thursday 10/9/2025 just in case there are flight delays since the rehearsal is planned on 10/10/2025 at the wedding location with a dinner planned after.

Is there a hotel airport shuttle?Is there a hotel airport shuttle?

Answer

Yes, there is a airport shuttle to and from the Waterloo Airport (ALO). When you make your flight reservation and know when you will arrive please call the hotel to schedule the appointment for the airport shuttle. The airport shuttle is available from 8am-5pm daily. If your reservation falls out of this time period you will have to arrange another form of transportation-uber/lyft.

Yes, the bridal and grooms party plan to have the rehearsal dinner at Single Speed in Waterloo after rehearsal at the wedding location.

We highly suggest you rent a car as public transportation is not reliable. There are uber and Lyft options. You will have to rent a car if you travel from the Eastern Iowa Airport as it is 45 minutes away from Waterloo, IA.

Please see the travel tab. We suggest this hotel as this hotel will have the shuttle. Book early. Other hotel options are as follows if you book late, there will be no shuttle from the below options: -Hampton Inn Cedar Falls, IA~ 2 star~ $150+/night - Isle Casino and Hotel Waterloo, IA~3 star~$79+/night -Country Inn and Suites Waterloo, IA~2star~ $62+/night

ALO: if you have a checked bag 2 hours prior to take off. If no checked bag 1 hour prior. CID: if you have a checked bag 2 hours prior. If no checked bag 1.5 hours prior.
