Kristina was living in Fort Wayne while Sierra was living in Warsaw. The couple met online, however, they were also coworkers working in different branches of the same social services agency. They started dating in September of 2022 and Kristina asked Sierra to be her girlfriend on November 13, 2022. The couple spent as much time as possible together going to different community events, dinner dates, outdoor activities, and of course family friendly activities with Sierra’s daughter Nayeli. Kristina always wanted to be a mom and as the family began to blossom, her name transitioned from Tina, to daddy, and finally to mommy as of summer of 2024. In December of 2024, Kristina celebrated her birthday. Kristina and Sierra’s friends came over for a Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration they call Friendsgivemas. At midnight, Sierra surprised Kristina with a birthday cake. Kristina knew there were special plans the next day to celebrate her birthday. What she didn’t know was that Sierra was going to send her on a scavenger hunt full of self-care and pampering before bringing her back home to a beautiful set up of balloons, candles, and pictures of some of their favorite memories together. This was where Sierra proposed to Kristina, and of course Kristina said yes.
