September 10, 2022: Wedding celebration from 4 to 10pm at Fasig-Tipton, Lexington, Kentucky
We met on the dating app Hinge, as most young & hip people do, but Kristina will continue to contest to this day that we connected on Bumble. Since then, we have lived in 3 different cities, adopted 2 dogs and are hopeful to eventually settle down in Lexington, Kentucky (go Cats!). Despite our cultural differences, we found our middle ground through our close relationships with our family & friends, the drive we have for our careers, and our forever growing relationship with God.
Nathan: He has such a kind & loving nature, his devotion to God, his unwavering support, his conscious efforts to write me love notes without missing a single occasion (special or not). Kristina: She's an incredible cook, her work ethic is unmatched, and she will 100% be a great mother. Oh, and she cleans up well too.
Nathan: Eating actual meals with real food. Kristina: Cooking actual meals with real food.
Nathan was completely out of his element for this. He researched beautiful locales in the San Antonio area, and found a waterfall at a Japanese tea garden near their apartment. However, once proposal day came around, the forecast called for rain. Nathan nearly panicked. Fortunately, it was only a light drizzle during the morning, and despite being relatively wet, Nathan popped the question as planned, and Kristina said yes! A crowd of random onlookers offered their congratulations, which was most certainly not part of the plan.
