Meeting each other a little later on in life was exactly how it was meant to happen. December 8, 2023 we had our first date at a restaurant in Newport, Rhode Island called Hooked. From that moment when we both hugged in the restaurant for the first time, one would say we were Hooked on each other ever since. From here, many life events took place including health challenges, and the 2 hour long drive between us truly testing our new relationship so early on. The support, and partnership between us grew more and more learning this is what true love feels like. How lucky are we to have found each other to walk through all of the seasons with- good or bad, in sickness & in health. Who would have thought a dating app would bring a patient and quiet Connecticut man & a loud hospitable New Yorker together - but boy are we so thankful it did🤍
