Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. Please plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for seating. The ceremony will begin at 4pm.

Can I drive to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We are providing transportation via buses to and from the Hampton Inn and the Courtyard in downtown Charlottesville. There will also be an early shuttle that leaves the reception around 8:30pm for those who would like, and shuttles for the end of the night at 10pm. There is parking on site, although the drive from downtown to the venue is around 30-35 minutes. Please note these are winding, rural roads that are difficult to navigate especially at night.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire. Think elegant evening wear, such as floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, or dark suits and ties.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, it will kindly say so on the invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We would like you to RSVP by August 10th. You can RSVP on the website or there will be a QR code on the back of your invitation. If you have not responded by this date, we will unfortunately have to mark you down as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you however we have to provide our exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.

What hotel should I book?

Answer

Any hotel or airbnb in the Charlottesville area is fine! We will have blocks at the Hampton Inn and the Courtyard. You can find more info on this under the Travel page. We will be providing transportation to and from the hotels we have blocks at.
