We're getting married!

It all started on April 29th, 2019. Their mutual friend was having her birthday party at Fremont, and Jake was very reluctant to go. But boy was he lucky he went, because on this day, he met the love of his life, Kristina. He used his flamingo shirt to catch her attention, and helped saved her from other men by pretending that they were engaged. Little did they know, this tale would come true. Kristina boldly asked for his number, and off they went to their first date: Pancho Pistolas & Punch Bowl. By their third date, she had met his mom. And one month in, he asked her to be his plus one at his best friend's wedding. Kristina wasn't looking for anything, but with Jake's persistence, he finally won her over. Since then, they have met each other's families, traveled to places like Kauai, Cancun and Croatia, and have helped motivate each other in their careers as an OBGYN and physical therapist. And when August 13th, 2022 rolled around, Jake was ready and proposed at the Lily Pad Pond in Lincoln Park, where they had one of their earliest dates and spent hours talking.
