We decided to officially tie the knot on June 1st, 2018, at the Tacoma courthouse, just the two of us. It was a magical and intimate day, and aligns with the Lutheran tradition of getting married privately with the state, and having the church wedding later. We are still excited to join you in celebrating our marriage, and will be having a traditional Lutheran post-elopement ceremony at the church, followed by a reception.

We met when we were in 5th grade. All the girls had a crush on Giles, but Kristina thought he was weird because his dark eyelashes looked like eyeliner. Giles has no memory of Kristina at that age, but we always ran in the same circle of friends. Eventually we became close friends in Mrs. Fishers 4th period Biology class in 10th grade, and officially started dating on December 17th, 2011 -- the first day of Christmas break.
