Officiant and People I Do Life With
Amy Stanley and I met through our daughters who were friends in middle school. I did not know the impact she would have on my life. Through her and with her I met other moms who would become the support system that I call My Sisterhood. They are the 5 women I got to choose as my sisters.
People I Do Life With
Wendy and I met at at the first gathering of a mom's group through church. Together we went through a 12 week Focus Group where we bonded and built a meaningful friendship. We balance each other out and challenge each other to grow spiritually and personally. I'm grateful that she, her kids, and her parents have all positively impacted and influenced me and my kids' lives. In My Sisterhood her nickname is "Paparazzi" because you'll always see her "camera ready" to catch those memorable moments.

Trish and I met working at JB's Salon and Spa and it was the start of an over 15 year friendship. Our families became fast friends and we've enjoyed watching each others' family grow. She has been there for all kinds of moments in my life; the good, the bad, the ugly, the crazy, the hilarious, and the fun.

Leigh Ann and I were introduced at the same epic mom group meeting. I have developed a special relationship with not only her, but her entire family as well. Her and her husband, Michael, have been a great support to Efraen and I. When needing advise or wisdom, she can provide some profound insight and spiritual wisdom earning her the nickname "The Teacher" within My Sisterhood.

Shayla was another new friend I met through the mom's group. She is an amazing person who is always ready to help out a friend in need. She is a wonderful listener, confidant, and mother to her boys. "Sunshine" became her nickname because she brings so much light and joy to all those privileged enough to know her.

Out of all my friends that are still a huge part of my life today, my friendship with Nicole is the longest. We really connected when we were both pregnant with our first child. We have been a part of each others' family's lives ever since. When she married her husband, Dustin, I gained the brother I had always wanted. She keeps me anchored and I'm forever grateful.

Anika and I met when I interviewed and hired her at Vision Works. After some time, our relationship surpassed the work place and we became very close. I can count on her whenever I need anything. Not only that, she will always show up for my kids as if they were her own. She has helped me to understand that being vulnerable isn't a weakness, but instead a strength.
My Sister Who I Do Life With
Guera, who didn't have the choice to do life without me, is the middle sister. She has taught me about strength, forgiveness, and unconditional love. Whenever I have felt misunderstood by the world, I know I can always count on her. She just gets me. #lozanoproblems

Liz and I met many years ago when we were both in school at Capital School of Hairstyling & Esthetics. I am so blessed to have had her as a friend for over 20 years. In addition, we ended up having the same last name and now I get to call her my sister as well. She has taught me compassion, sensitivity, and she helps reign me in when I get a little too extra. She's also the final member of My Sisterhood, earning the name "DJ Lizzy Liz" because she is always ready with a playlist for any occasion.
