Darren proposed on Christmas Eve at Camp Milton Park. Originally, I was told it was just a family photoshoot and it will only be my mom, sisters, nieces and my nephew. Darren had planned to leave that exact weekend to go see his dad for the holidays. Little did I know! Whenever we all arrived to the park for the “family” photoshoot, I was told to go first to get some individual pictures. While I was getting my pictures done, I heard some noise behind me as if people were walking up. When I turn around, I see Darren holding a beautiful bouquet of red colored roses, his family, and a few of our very close friends walking along his side! Darren expressed his love to me in a couple words and he then popped the question… Will you marry me? I obviously said YES.
