We met on a blind date on Valentines Day where I was dragged by one of my good friends and he was pushed by his brother. We all went to the ice skating rink in downtown Milwaukee where he impressed me by helping me tie my skates, buying me dinner and hot chocolate with the last dollar in his pocket. We nervously talked about each other's likes and dislikes. There were fist pumps. Awkward hand holding. And of course perfectly synced falling. We didn't know at the time, but from then on, we were inseparable.

On a spontaneous trip to Minnesota, we visited the beautiful StoneArch Bridge across the Mississippi River. Little did I know our get away from North Dakota wasn't spontaneous at all. He took me across the bridge and showed me the immaculate views in more ways than one. Below the bridge was a hidden trail along the river that we simply couldn't resist. He took me to the most perfect spot right across from the bridge and next to the river where he asked, "Hey, these clouds look pretty cool, huh?" and I said, "What am I looking at??". Before I could look back he got down on one knee and asked, "Will you go on more adventures with me?". My heart was so happy that I was at a loss for words, but I eventually shouted, "YES!". We are so excited to be sharing this next chapter of our lives with you. See you soon!
