Krissy first caught Clark’s eye on OkCupid, but it took several attempts over the next 8 months for them to meet. They had dinner in White Marsh on June 16, 2016 and the rest is history. Clark proposed to Krissy at an overlook at Annapolis Rocks about 2 & 1/2 years later, the very spot that their relationship became official. Clark was born October 7, 1987 and grew up in Darien CT. He is the second child of 4 boys, with brothers Bret, Dean & Reed. Growing up, he played paintball and video games, and ran track in high school. Clark attended Virginia Tech and graduated with a Fine Arts degree in 2011. In college, he took up Taekwondo. Clark lived in Boston where he free-lanced before attending Vancouver Film School in British Columbia. He is now a 3D Environment Artist at Firaxis Games in Sparks, MD. He loves climbing, lifting weights, creating 3D art, guitar playing, gaming and Krissy, of course. Krissy was born on May 7, 1988 and grew up in Tobyhanna, PA. She is the middle child with sister Jenny, and brother, Jesse. Growing up, she loved art and music; playing saxophone in the band and watercolor painting. Krissy attended University of Maryland for a year before transferring to Susquehanna University where she graduated with a degree in Biology and Secondary Education in 2010. Krissy was a member of the rowing team. Krissy then moved to Maryland where she taught at Echo Hill Outdoor School and her love of the outdoors grew. She was offered a classroom teaching position and moved to Baltimore County where she taught middle school as she completed her Masters in Chemical & Life Sciences. She now teaches Biology & Animal Behavior at Sparrows Point HS. Krissy loves hiking, kayaking, and arts & crafts. Together, Krissy & Clark make a great pair. They are family oriented, share a love for art, enjoy going on adventures, and adore their two cats, Tucker & Owen. It may have taken these two a while to find each other, but both will agree that it was worth the wait!
