Since Fern will be part of the wedding and reception, we ask that your fur baby stays home with a loved one as we celebrate together.

Of course! If you have kids, please bring them. Our wedding and reception will be child friendly.

What is the difference between a Hmong wedding and an American wedding?

Answer

Unlike American weddings, where family and guests are largely spectators to a central ceremony, a Hmong wedding has no "I do" moment. Instead, the entire day is a weaving together of both families through words, drinking, and shared participation. Each guest becomes part of the union itself.

When do I come to the wedding?

Please join us for every part of the celebration! We'll be gathering for photos at noon, and we'd love to have you in them. If you'd like to be part of our photos, please plan to arrive by noon and afterward, stay to enjoy lunch with us!

You're welcome to come as early 6pm when doors open. Please consult the reception schedule so you don't miss the events happening throughout the reception.
