Checkout the Jefferson Overlook - where Kristina fell in love with NC in 2021 and where Bill proposed in 2025! Enjoy beautiful views where you can see the Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina mountains from one spot.
Old Barn Winery and Vineyards
Another one of our favorite places to visit. This place is so beautiful, it's where we had our engagement photos done.
The Grape + Grain
Excellent place in town where we get a glass of wine, sit outside, and enjoy the quiet mountain life and "fresh" air that Kristina swears is "better" every time we visit. Love ya babe
West Jefferson
West Jefferson.... The small town in every Hallmark movie you've seen. Imagine Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls or Pigeon Creek from Sweet Home Alabama. You'll find wonderful boutique shops, art galleries and a variety of spots to grab a drink and a bite to eat.
The Liar's Bench
Some of the best sandwiches we've ever had! Check out the Lansing Creeper Trail park across the street - where the "Virginia Creeper" steam train once rolled through. This amazing small town was devastated by Hurricane Helene, however, in true Appalachian fashion, the people came together and rebuilt.

Kristina's favorite. Great ciders and atmosphere.
