Alex and Kristina met Father's Day weekend the summer of 2023 on the streets of downtown Saint Paul, when Alex held the door open as she exited the bar and made her way across the street. Alex circled back and approached Kristina, insisting he had lost his friends and was in need of some company. With a mix of his coy charm and liquid courage, Alex found the confidence to ask her out. Admiring his boldness and persistence, Kristina agreed to the date, on the condition they both felt the same butterflies the next day. It’s clear those flutters persisted. A week later, their first date took place at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, a meaningful setting that would come full circle two and half years later when Alex asked Kristina to marry him. From love at first sight, to the not-so-distant sound of wedding bells, the two have been inseparable. They are so thrilled to begin their new chapter together as husband and wife.
