Flight
All three New York/surrounding airports have public transportation to and from Manhattan to the airport. You can also get an Uber or Taxi from the airport. Tip - If flying into JFK and can brave the public transport, that's recommended as traffic is generally tough, especially afternoon/early evening.

Train
There are multiple lines with 28th Street stations near the venue. The 1, 6, R and W trains all should stop at the 28th street station. Additionally, the F, M, C, and E trains all have 23rd street stations that are relatively easy walks to the venue. You can also put in the venue address and view directions via train, which will show the easiest subway to take from your location.
Travel Note
Yellow cabs are usually the cheapest way to get around the city, you can hail a cab pretty much anywhere in Manhattan. Ubers and Lyfts are also available and will give you pre-set pricing when you book them.
