Staying at the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa will include an all-inclusive experience. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR ROOM BLOCK RATES HAS EXPIRED. If you book through a different avenue, please make sure you tell the resort you are a part of the McDaniel & Gonzalez Wedding. If you’re planning on staying outside the hotel, you will be required to pay the day pass/wedding fee to enter. We highly recommend using AMSTAR transportation to and from the hotel. Dawn Morris, worldtravelunlimited@gmail.com, can assist you further. Tips/Notes from our Site Visit trip in April: 1. You will exit the plane on the jet way to be transferred to passport control by a bus. 2. Pro Tip: Look on the flight map close to landing and stop by the restroom 30-45 mins before landing. 3. Once in passport control go straight into the line. You will scan your passport and get your photo made. A ticket will print out with instructions to scan the QR code... Brady nor I did this and had no problems leaving Mexico. 4. Baggage Claim - Constantly check the screens, the track with your luggage can/will change. 5. You may be asked for a bag search before exiting baggage claim. Just follow along as they pull almost everyone. Try walking by without making eye contact especially if there is a lot of people exiting at once. 6. Ignore all the people offering rides (there will be a lot). If booking through our TA, you should have transportation with AMSTAR. They will be outside the airport in blue flower button down shirts with your name on a sheet of paper. In April, AMSTAR's check-in was at Bay 44! 7. Do not panic if you're stuck in traffic because of a car left in the middle of the street, they just stopped at the local store and will move (soon enough)! 8. Enjoy, you're in Mexico!
