Question
Is your wedding proceeding as planned?
Answer
We decided it best to postpone our wedding to July 23, 2021 due to COVID-19. At this point, we fully plan to move forward with this new date. The venue and all of the details are the same, the date is different! Please continue to check the website for further updates.
Question
Will you be following COVID-19 Guidelines?
Answer
As of today, Governor Cuomo has lifted all restrictions. We highly encourage our guests to be vaccinated or take a COVID test prior. All venue staff is tested regularly and almost all are fully vaccinated. Trevor and Kristie are fully vaccinated! Go Pfizer! Do I have to stay at the hotel?
Answer
Of course not! However, if you want free transportation to and from the venue we highly recommend it! The Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel uses group codes instead of room blocks.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What's the dress code?
Answer
Semi-Formal, please. The tent has fans and air conditioning, but remember it is an outdoor wedding on a summer night in July! Other than that, please save white and similar colors for the bride! And no denim!

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?
Answer
We are planning a technology-free ceremony so please refrain from taking pictures during this time. Also, please keep all technology away. After the ceremony, please take pictures during cocktail hour and the reception and post using the hashtag #kristiegotsherman

What's to eat and drink?
Answer
Cocktail hour runs from 5:30 to 6:30 where you will have tons of delicious drinks and appetizers! An open bar will be available during cocktail hour and the reception, please remember to bring your ID just in case. Meal preferences will be taken at the table the night of.

Yes, there is valet parking available.

Kristie and Trevor (mostly Kristie) are busy planning away. Please contact the Maid of Honor, Lea, or the Co-Best Men Tate and Chris with any questions. Let them be the ones to bother Kristie and Trevor if they don't have your answer!
