Wedding Party

Fiona Weng

Mother of the Bride

My mom is my favorite person in the entire world. When people say I am so much like my mom, I take it as the biggest compliment because she is beautiful, independent, funny, hard-working, athletic, and competitive. I strive to be everything she is.

Victoria Eng

Mother of the Groom

My mom is one of the mentally strongest people I know. When I was going through a tough time in college, she was the first person I'd called after I thought I couldn't continue my major. She taught me to be resilient and to keep persevering through difficult times.

David Weng

Father of the Bride

Anyone who knows my dad knows he is the life of the party and gives main character energy. Unfortunately, I did not inherit those traits from him, but what most people don't see is that he has the biggest heart, always teaching my brothers and I to be kind and leading with a glass half full mentality.

George Lee

Father of the Groom

My dad has always taught us to be self-sufficient, independent, and to work hard. He was always there to offer advice and tell me his own experiences. Even when I'm his age, I will still be asking him for advice.

Yejean Ok

Maid of Honor

I met Yejean when we were 5 years old on the first day of kindergarten. She was bossy and I was shy- the perfect combination to spark a life-long friendship. She is very obviously loud, crazy, and fun, but she is also undyingly loyal and loving. We pinky promised we were going to be each other's maid of honors since 20 years ago- we do not do our pinky promises lightly.

Eric Lee

Best Man

You wouldn't guess that we're brothers based on looks, but by our personalities you would immediately know we are brothers. We can talk about sports and video games and send each other memes all day long. We can also argue about who's right or wrong about the smallest, dumbest things. It may seem like we hate each other at times, but I really do love him.

Jenny Yae

Bridesmaid and Officiant

I met Jenny in freshmen year of high school when we were 15 years old. When I first met her, I saw her as this outgoing, type A, Christian girl. She is still all of that to her very core, but I've come to learn in the past 12 years that she is also the strongest, craziest, and one of the funniest people I know. Her stories are stories I hope I can tell my children one day.

Simon Lam

Groomsman

Simon introduced me to racing cars at the track. He was always motivating me to go faster on the track and has given me great life advice over the years, especially when it comes to wasting money on our stupid broken cars.

Erica Chio

Bridesmaid

I met Erica during our freshman year in college. We hung around the same group of friends, but it didn't really click between us until sophomore year when we decided to become roommates. Erica is my friend that I can do nothing and everything with every day. If I had the option to live with anyone but Austin for the rest of my life, it would be Erica.

Alex Filip

Groomsman

We would have never talked to each other if we weren't so stupid and had to take summer classes at Syracuse. From then on, it was constantly him texting me for homework answers the night before it was due or Dunkin/Chick Fil A runs after class. I don't miss having to step on the mountain of empty Dunkin ice coffee cups in his Honda Pilot or the Goldfish (the snack that smiles back) on the floor in his tiny room.

Michelle Nguyen

Bridesmaid

I was living with my little brother in Brooklyn in 2020 when he brought home a cute girl who was living in California at the time. That was how I met Michelle. She then became my roomie who became my friend who eventually started to feel like my sister. A shared activity we love is making fun of Kenny.

Jae Kim

Groomsman

Jae is one of the most easy-going and genuine people I know. He is always positive and there if you need a friend. We have a shared love of golf and Porsches, even though our stupid cars give us unnecessary stress.

Karen Ha

Bridesmaid

I met Karen in our 2nd grade class. We would often hide in her basement when my dad would pick me up from our playdate in hopes I could stay a little longer. She is and has always been the smartest, kindest, and most empathetic person in whatever room she walks into. She would win the award of "Best girl to bring home to your parents" every time.

Matt Chan

Groomsman

Kristie and Yejean tried manifesting our friendship. It turns out we both love to nerd out over our hobbies. Matt was the one to get me into cycling (another unnecessarily expensive hobby). Biking all over NYC and Jersey in our tight cycling outfits together is something I look forward to every week.
