As much as we love getting to know new folks, our wedding is strictly invitation-only. We will only be able to accommodate those addressed on your invitation envelope.
We take your health seriously and want all of our guests to have a safe, Smoky Mountain experience with us, especially those who are 65+ or immunocompromised. Masks will be available to all those who wish to wear one. If you are exposed to someone with COVID-19 or show symptoms within two weeks from October 1st, we kindly ask that you refrain from attending for the health and safety of our other guests.
Burnt orange and cream.
Classy but comfortable is the name of the game for our wedding. Penguin-esque tuxedos are not recommended, but neither are yoga pants. We can't wait to see your fancy-ish outfits and kindly ask that you keep your color palette neutral and fall-inspired. For our female guests who decide to wear heels, we suggest something thick/chunky (i.e skip the stilettos). A number of areas where we'll be taking photos and congregating are grassy or unpaved, so choose a stylish and sensible shoe.
We’ve asked a wickedly talented professional photographer to capture our ceremony, so we kindly ask that you turn off all devices and be present with us. (We promise to share our beautiful photos with you after the wedding!) As for the reception, feel free to snap as many photos as you like. Don't forget to use the hashtag #Hoopseth2021 if you share on socials!
Your presence is gift enough, but we do have a honeymoon registry via Honeyfund if you're dying to shower us with a little more love and help us roadtrip across the West! www.honeyfund.com/wedding/kristiandtucker2021
If there's one thing you better bring to the reception, it's an appetite! Our wedding spread will include a delicious selection of charcuterie, salads, locally-sourced proteins and seasonal sides. If you have an allergy or dietary restriction we need to know about, please get in touch with Kristi.
Yes! We'll have a fully-stocked bar, but feel free to bring your favorite bubbly or brew if you're looking to sip on a super specific spirit or sour ale.
While we can't predict what the weather will be like the day of the wedding, you can expect daytime temperatures to be in the 70s and 80s and evenings in the 50s.
