FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We kindly request that you arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding will be primarily outdoors and set right on the beach - please plan accordingly. The ceremony will take place on the sand, cocktail hour will be held outdoors just off the beach, and the reception area will be outdoors in a covered, shaded area.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us for the occasion! We are requesting semi-formal attire for our wedding. Women are invited to wear semi-formal/cocktail dresses. Since the ceremony is on sand, block heels, wedges, dressy flats or sandals are great choices. For men, suits or dress pants paired with a button-down shirt are recommended. We kindly ask that ladies avoid wearing shades of white or ivory.

Question

Is there a hotel room block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have a reserved room block at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa for our wedding guests. This resort is the location of the wedding, making it easy to celebrate and stay with us all in one place.

Question

How can I book my room using the discounted room block rate?

Answer

We've made booking your room easy! Simply go to the "Travel" section on our website to access the direct link for our room block.

Question

How does the room block work?

Answer

Guests can take advantage of our discounted room block rates for up to 3 days before and 3 days after March 30. If you're planning to extend your stay beyond two nights, please book as soon as possible so we can continue to update the room block based on demand. Please keep in mind that discounted rates for additional nights are subject to room availability.

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your littles ones! However, invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited.

Question

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We have decided to have an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly request that phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony. Feel free to take any photos or videos you would like during the cocktail hour and reception!
