A block of rooms has been reserved at the Southernmost Beach Resort for July 22 and July 23, 2019. The daily resort fee has been waived and you will receive a 20% coupon for food purchases at the resort. If you choose to upgrade to a different room category, please call the Southernmost Beach Resort. Let them know you are booking for the Panske/Dessart wedding so the room gets counted for our group. The price will be the best available at that time. Also, if you decide to arrive in Key West before July 22, please let us know in advance so we can add rooms to our block for that night. Room pricing for the 21st maybe slightly more expensive. Flight
Getting to Key West
The first option is to fly into Key West International Airport. The other option is to fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood or Miami International Airport, rent a car, and enjoy the scenic 3-3.5 hour drive to Key West. It is $35/day to park at the resort. Street parking is free. You could also fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and drive down and fly out of Key West on the way back.

Getting around Key West
You most likely will not need a car while in Key West as most places in Key West can be reached by foot. There are also places to rent bikes, scooters, and mopeds. Be prepared to do a lot of walking!

After Wedding Lodging
Nick and I are planning on staying in Key West for the remainder of the week after the wedding (July 24-28th). For those looking to stay in Key West with us, we are looking at finding lodging through a rental site such as VBRO. We have been in contact with local property managers to rent a large house or a series of condos next to each other to make this very affordable. If you are planning on staying, please rsvp for the event “I want to stay the whole week with Kristi and Nick” by February 15, 2019.
