When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please start arriving at 3pm for welcome drinks. You will be asked to be seated at 3:45 in preparation for the 4pm ceremony.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, the dress code is: Black Tie (optional) On The Beach Please see the 'Dress Code' page on out website for more details & inspo. Please note that whilst we chose this time of year due to it being the best weather for the area, this is a coastal town and weather can be unpredictable. We recommend bringing a throw/shawl or jacket in case it is a bit chilly!

While we adore your little ones, our celebration is an adults-only affair. We hope this gives you the chance to let your hair down and enjoy a night off!

Are there hotels or AirBnBs in the area?
Answer
Yes! There are ample gorgeous Bed & Breakfasts, AirBnBs and private homes for rent in Yzerfontein - all of which are max 10 minutes from the venue. Please see the 'accommodation' page on our wedding website for some recommendations.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
There is parking at the venue, however we encourage all guests to make use of the shuttle service. Please avoid drinking and driving, and take note that there are no Ubers in the Yzerfontein area.

Is there transportation to the wedding and back?
Answer
Yes, we will be arranging a shuttle service within Yzerfontein to ensure everyone gets safely to and from the venue and their accommodation on the wedding day. Please indicate on your RSVP if you would like to make use of the shuttles. They will likely begin collecting guests from their accommodation from 14:30 on the wedding day. Shuttles home will run between 22:30 and 02:00am.

I'm not sure if my outfit fits the dress code, what should I do?
Answer
While we really appreciate attempts to stick to our mood-board and outfit inspo, we fully understand if you do not own an outfit that fits exactly! If you are unsure, please feel free to reach out to Kristi or Luc! All that we ask is to avoid very busy patterns or overly bright colours such as bright red, orange, hot pink etc. Any other solid colours, earthy/muted tones or pastels are perfect - We just want you to feel your best! Please avoid colours typically reserved for the bridal party, such as white, ivory, cream or beige.
