Years ago, Kristi and Jared were both working as techs in the emergency department at St Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT. The two have tried to figure out multiple times the first conversation they had, but they honestly can't remember! What they do know, is that they had a crush on each other for a while. Thankfully, their good friend, Eric, made it known to both of them that they were single, and to go on a date already! One night they went out for some drinks and cribbage, kissed on Broadway St and the rest is history....

The two had just purchased their first, very small, pop-up camper to take to the Oregon Coast. Kristi's parents were already down there. They spent some time walking the beach, sipping new brews (outside with their dog of course), and waking up early to go crabbing. Jared's family had come down "just to take the bikes down the coast and say hi." Since both of the pup's grandparents were in town, Jared convinced Kristi to actually go on a date night! Unbeknownst to her, he made a reservation at a beach-side restaurant with a perfect view of Haystack rock. After a delicious dinner, they walked on the beach. There, at sunset, right in front of Haystack rock, Jared proposed. Kristi and Jared walked back to the campsite where the two families had a fire going, wine pouring, and neighboring campers bringing over champagne.
