The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3 o’clock on Saturday, October 1st at the Fox Hollow Gazebos. In case of rain, the ceremony will be relocated to the Chapel next door.
While there is plenty of parking, we want to be sure that everyone arrives home or to their accommodations safe and sound! Breakfast is included for those staying on the Forrest Hills grounds, and if you find it too difficult to walk from the lodging to the conference center, driving is recommended. After the reception, if you do not feel comfortable driving or are unable to traverse the landscape, we plan to have a golf cart to aid in transportation from reception to lodging, however, this does not include transport to hotels outside the property. Plans are subject to changes.
There is a festive feel to cocktail attire. The venue includes a good bit of walking, so stilettos probably aren’t the move. The goal is to look polished and dressy, but not so much as to outdo the bride and groom. For men, this typically describes a suit and for women, a dress (not gown) or pantsuit with some sandals or wedges is plenty. No jeans please. Think of the dress code as a guide to keep you from being under or overdressed compared to the other guests.
