We met in middle school, we were friends within a large group of friends at first. Our main hangout was at Star Skating Rink. It was there, where a 12 year old boy asked a 12 year old girl to be his girlfriend. Her response would be an inside joke between them for many years to come. Her response? "I guess".

Yes, we took our time, to say the least. Through the years we had many many ups as well as downs, but we always came out on top. We did choose the ring together, however it would be unknown when the question would get popped. For Christmas, Kristi's parents decided to spend some time in Williamsburg, Virginia and invited the rest of their family. After some fun going to Christmas Town at Busch Gardens and Williamsburg Winery it was date night! Earlier that day we had a couples massage that was so relaxing! We chose to go to a steak/seafood house for dinner called Opus 9. We had an incredible dinner that was followed by dessert. At this time, we were about the only people left in the restaurant. When our cheesecake came out, on the plate, written in chocolate were the words I had been waiting so so long to see. Marry Me. So with our awesome waiter taking pictures with his phone from around the corner, my response was not "I guess". It was YES!
