We met while both working at a non-profit in Downtown Fort Worth. While we both got hired only a month apart (November, 2020 & December, 2020), it wasn't until the following Spring that our paths finally crossed. It was during that fateful fire drill that our eyes met (and only our eyes, due to mask regulations), instantly fell in love, and the rest is history. Well...almost instantly. Over the next few months, we would see each other here and there throughout the workday, until the nods of hello turned into conversations, which then turned into daily walks, which then turned into lunches, which then turned into... Yup. A scolding from one of our bosses. Because clearly we should be spending our time at work to, well, work. It was in that moment that one of us (the aggressive one) wooed the other one (the passive one) with a beautiful homemade birthday picnic. It was then in that moment that we decided to take our relationship to the real world. Once we took that leap, it was only a few months where we actually did fall in love and decided to bring Malcolm into the picture. It was a slow, but beautiful transition as our dynamic began to change and we realized that this is it. This is our family. Our goofy, loving, joking, and sometimes chaotic family. We have faced a lot together in these four years, and even the hardest times were made easier because we had each other. We are very excited to officially begin this new chapter of our story, and appreciate every single one of you for sharing it with us.
