Depending on the weather, the reservoir can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. Stop by the Dillon marina for gorgeous view and a walking/biking path. If its warm, rent kayaks or SUP from the marina and explore.

Old Dillon Reservoir Trail

This is a relatively easy 1.6 mile round trip hike close by that is fun in both sunshine and snowy weather.
Lilly Pad Lake Trail

Depending on weather, this can be a fun 3.4 mile round trip, relatively easy (500ft elevation gain) hike close by.
Rent a bike/e-bike
There are several bike shops in the community that rent both bikes and e-bikes. Summit County has a great recreational bike path protected from the road that we recommend exploring.
Sapphire Point Overlook
Swan Mountain Rd, Dillon, CO 80435
A popular scenic overlook, accessible by car, offering great views of Dillon Reservoir. There is also a 0.6 mile loop trail for those interested.
