We're Finally Getting Married!

It was a Monday night. Carrington's was poppin'. Free entry and $3 you call its. Joy went to unwind from a weekend of working. KT was there to watch the Cowboys and Redskins game. Both stayed for the cheap drinks and the endless smiles and conversation. The rest is history! Six years later, we've finally set a date and destination. We're ready to solidify our bond and continue to see the world.

While Joy was planning a milestone birthday trip to Thailand for her sister, KT had the perfect idea of proposing to Joy while vacationing there. Seeing KT talk to himself throughout the entire day, Joy became worried and inquisitive. But the inquisition quickly passed as she was distracted with coordinating the day's itinerary. Upon arriving to the King Power MahaNakhon building, we snapped pictures, toured the lower floors and headed up to the Skybar to enjoy the open air and scenery. We were seated and ordered two bottles. Thinking we were toasting for Joy's sister's birthday, Joy was completely caught off guard until KT was down on one knee. After a quick happy dance and some composure, Joy tearfully accepted KT's proposal on July 14, 2019, on the 76th floor at the King Power MahaNakhon Skybar surrounded by her family. Building management send over another bottle of champagne and informed us that we were the first to propose at their Skybar. BEST. NIGHT. EVER!!!! We're so excited to share the next chapter of our journey with you at our destination wedding, while doing what we love to do best--- Travel.
