Erin & Kristian's love story began in 2016 at UConn. During a charity event, Erin took notice to Kristian playing basketball. After a few times crossing paths, Erin had the courage to approach him at a social gathering. Erin's infatuating smile immediately caught Kristian's eye. It wasn't long before the two found any (and every) excuse to see one another. It was during these times of laughter and friendship that Erin & Kristian's relationship had blossomed, paving the way for the next chapter of their lives. After UConn, the two started their professional careers. Opportunities for work had pulled them geographically apart. Kristian spent the next few years in North Carolina, Indiana, and Long Island while Erin planted her roots in Manhattan, the city she had always dreamed of living in. Despite this distance, the two found time to connect every day and, once again, used any (and every) excuse to travel to see one another. It was because of this distance, not in spite of it, that their relationship continued to evolve, creating a love for one another that is resilient and enduring. Two years ago, when a new work opportunity presented itself, Erin & Kristian decided to take the next step together and ventured off to Charlotte, NC. The two have found extreme joy sharing new experiences and hobbies with one another. Through this transition, Erin & Kristian quickly realized how ready they were to commit their lives to one another. On December 16, 2023 (7 years in the making), Kristian got down on one knee to ask for Erin's hand in marriage...she gladly said YES! Erin & Kristian have since gotten a puppy, started building their life together, and are looking forward to finding a home soon! Thank you everyone for being a part of our story!
