Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES! Viva la Mexico baby - please check your passport and validity ASAP! We don't want you stuck at the border.

When do I need to book my room by?

Answer

Please have your room booked by October 30, 2025, so we can have an accurate guest count. Your information will be collected, but you won't be charged until check-out. Instructions on booking your room can be found under "Stay & Travel" on the website.

Is there a hotel minimum stay requirement?

Answer

Hotel Playa Fiesta requires a four-night minimum; however guests are welcome to check in as early as Tuesday (12/09/25). Shane & Kristiana will be at the resort from Tuesday to Sunday.

Is the wedding at the hotel?

Answer

Yes! Playa Fiesta is a destination wedding venue where we stay, play, and get married - private for just our guests.

Is Playa Fiesta all-inclusive?

Answer

Bar = YES! Food = Partial. Our wedding package covers the open bar, breakfast buffets every day, pool snacks, and three hosted dinners. Any additional food will be available for purchase anytime from the onsite restaurant.

Does Playa Fiesta have an open bar?

Answer

Yes. The bar operates 8am-11pm and will be stocked with beer, wine, liquor, water, juice, sodas coffee and tea. Kristiana and Shane will also have drinks and liquor in their suite for after party activities!

What do I need to pack?

Answer

Please reference the "Schedule" tab for the dress code. Most days are beach casual, but we do have dress codes for each night.

Should I talk with the Mexico sales people in the airport?

Answer

No - power on through! Playa Fiesta is not associated with the timeshare sales teams inside the airport.

How do we get to Playa Fiesta?

Answer

A car service is recommended to travel from the airport to the hotel for groups of 6 or larger. Arrangements can be made in advance by contacting astrid@superiortoursvallarta.com. However, if you prefer, taxis and ubers are readily available at the airport as an alternative.

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

While we love your little ones, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only affair.

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

In mid-December, Puerto Vallarta offers ideal weather for a wedding. The rainy season has ended, leaving behind warm, sunny days with average highs around 84°F (30°C) and cooler evenings averaging 69°F (20.5°C).

Will there be activities in Mexico aside from the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! We're planning some fun pre-wedding and post-wedding activities, like a welcome dinner, rehearsal, recovery brunch, a night out & more. Itinerary details are on the "Schedule" tab of the website.

Can I leave the venue and go explore?

Answer

Guests have the option to venture off the property and explore during any free time in the wedding week itinerary, but simply relaxing by the pool at Playa Fiesta is always an option.

How do I get around Puerto Vallarta?

Answer

Taxis are the best way to get around Puerto Vallarta, just make sure they are marked. Ubers are also a great option but may not be available in all locations.

Do I need adapters?

Answer

No. Mexico has the same electrical outlets as the United States. No adapters are needed.

Will there be a steamer/iron I can use?

Answer

Yes. There will be a steamer in the bridal suite & irons in each room.

Yes, there is free high-speed Wi-Fi at the hotel, pool areas & rooms.

Can I stay somewhere else?

Answer

Since we have the entire hotel to ourselves, we prefer that you stay with us. If you have any questions on other hotels, please contact either Kristiana or Shane directly; this may impact your ability to join the group events.
