We're getting married!

Kristi and Ben "officially" met when the #basicboccebetches (Kristi's Bocce Team) played in an American Bocce Co. (Ben's former start-up) league at Clark Street Ale house. Kristi had played in a few summer leagues up until that point and had her eye on Ben, he was so sweet and handsome, but she was not able to muster up the courage to do much more than mumble a hello to him until Clark Street. It was a pal's 30th birthday and everyone was in celebration mode, Kristi finally got the courage to strike up a conversation with Ben and the rest is history.

While on vacation in Cancun, Mexico, Ben had planned quite a surprise. Each morning, we would get up bright and early to reserve beach chairs. There was a brilliant sunrise every morning, so we all decided to take a morning walk on the beach a few days into the trip. While on a walk with Kristi's Sister (Amy) and her boyfriend (Danny), we stopped to take some pictures. Just as the sun was peaking out form behind the clouds, Ben asked to take one more with Kristi and got down on one knee to pop the question. Of course it was a yes! The rest of the day was spent celebrating with many a mimosa and an afternoon surprise visit from the Martin and Tudor parents, Kristi had no clue! Many months of scheming and planning later, the Martins and Tudors spent the remainder of the trip having a fabulous time celebrating and getting to know each other.
