One of the first big trips we took together was visiting Greece and Croatia in 2022. We fell in love with Greece - the food, the beaches, the history and architecture. Steven is also half Greek and was raised in the Greek Orthodox Church. Our hope is that although you came to Greece for our wedding, you spend time traveling the islands and fall in love with Greece too!
We are hosting a welcome event the evening of Thursday, May 28th near the hotels in the Athenian Riviera. We are also planning a beach party on Saturday, May 30th. We would love to spend as much time with everyone as possible! Refer to the Schedule section for more detail.
Thursday Attire: Coastal Cocktail (Cocktail attire perfect for an evening outdoors by the water. For women, think airy dresses or separates, and dressy sandals, block heels, or wedges. For men, think linen button up shirts or light blazer, chinos, and loafers or boat shoes. Note that it is not required to cover your knees or shoulders in the church.) Friday Attire: Summer Formal (Formal wedding attire with a warm-weather feel. Think floor-length gowns or elevated midi dresses, and suits or tuxes in lighter fabrics. Color/patterns and lightweight materials are encouraged.) Saturday Attire: Beachwear (Swimwear encouraged! Come ready for a laid-back beach day.)
Yes! We don't want anyone traveling to Greece alone. Everyone should have an option to RSVP for themself and a plus one (if you want). Friends and family are welcome as plus ones - it doesn't need to be a date! Text us if there are any issues or questions.
We've decided to host a child-free wedding. We understand this won't work for everyone, so please know that we respect your RSVP decision either way!
We chose Athens rather than a Greek island to make it as convenient as possible. We are planning a welcome event and a beach club day in the Athenian Riviera. The wedding venue is about 40 minutes from both downtown Athens and the Athenian Riviera. There are Ubers and public transportation to get around the city.
