FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kristen Kafkaloff and Jason Helali
Question

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outdoors on grass; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. Cocktail hour will be held mostly outdoors with a smaller indoor bar area. The reception will be held indoors.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, suits, or sport coats and slacks.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at the same venue. Cocktail hour and reception will be short walk across the venue from the ceremony area.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Is parking free?

Answer

Navigate to "Galway Downs by Wedgewood Weddings". The venue is on a horse ranch, so as you are driving onto the property, please pay attention to signage. Turn when you see "Wedgewood Weddings" sign and continue until you reach the parking lot. Parking is free.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving about 30 minutes before the ceremony so everyone can be seated on time. Guests arriving late may be asked to wait before being escorted to their seats to avoid disrupting the ceremony.

Question

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Answer

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

A buffet-style dinner will be served during the reception.

Question

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

Answer

Please note any dietary restrictions in your RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate. At the moment, we plan to have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.

Question

What's the best airport to fly into?

Answer

If you’re flying in for the weekend, the most popular airport is San Diego International (SAN), about a 1-1.5 hr drive and usually the easiest choice. Ontario International (ONT) is another great option, a slightly farther drive away, but often less crowded. You can also fly into John Wayne / Orange County (SNA) or LAX if those work better for your travel plans.

Question

What if I drove to the wedding and need to Uber back?

Answer

No problem! The venue allows guests to leave their cars overnight if needed, just be sure to pick up your car by 11am the next morning.
