We’re getting married!

We grew up going to school together in Perryville. For the most part, we were just good friends but had dated for a very short period in high school. Lucky for us, life brought us back together again and the connection we felt towards each other turned into the greatest adventure. Since then we have shared so many joys with each other. I got to share with Zac the love for nature and long hikes. He challenged my adventurous side and showed me the love for the mountains and skiing. These past few years, we have gotten to experience so many amazing things together. But, of course, our favorite place to be will always be anywhere outside, playing with our favorite furball, Jax. We are so excited to continue to share all of this and every new joy we find with each other for a lifetime.

We were skiing in Breckenridge, CO, which has become one of our favorite places. Zac took me out on our balcony the first morning we were there and told me to look down. He had written “marry me” in the snow. We were surrounded by huge evergreen trees and the mountains could be seen in the distance. It was the most magical moment in the most beautiful place, and of course i said yes!
