Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we would love to invite the children of all of our friends and family, only our nieces and nephews will be attending the wedding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

4:00 PM. Procession starts at 4:15PM and ceremony begins at 4:30PM

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress for garden party semi-formal. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are outdoors.

Do you have any hotel recommendations/Room Block?

Answer

Yes, we have a room block set up at the Homewood Suites Hilton San Diego Del Mar (858-523-0500). Please call to make your reservation and mention "Oppelt Wedding". We were quoted $209/night for 7/15 and 7/16 which includes breakfast and parking.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking on site at the venue is limited and permits are required. We have arranged for a shuttle to bring guests to the wedding venue and back to the Homewood Suites Hilton San Diego Del Mar.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we have arranged for a shuttle that will make two trips from Hilton San Diego Del Mar to the Martin Johnson House beginning at 3:15PM on 7/16/22. We also arranged for the shuttle to transport you back to the hotel after the reception beginning at 10PM.
