Things To Do

San Marco

1980 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207

This is a cute, walkable neighborhood with local shops and restaurants. Places we love here: -Bold Bean for coffee -Good Dough for breakfast and doughnuts! -Aardwolf is our fav local brewery (a little farther from the Square) -The Loop for lunch -Taverna for dinner (a little fancy) -Peterbrooke for local chocolate Take a pic at the lion fountain in the middle of the Square! It's a must.

Five Points

1044 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204

This is another great area with shops, restaurants and bars. Places we love: -BREW for coffee -Midnight Sun, the quintessential hippie store -Grassroots, a small, organic grocer with yummy sandwiches -Hovan for delicious Mediterranean food (and our first date spot) -Birdies for drinks and dancing -Black Sheep for nice dinner or rooftop drinks and apps -Hoptinger also has a cool rooftop bar There are multiple small, chill bars that are mostly beer spots. Just walk Park Street and you'll see them! Also, the Cummer Art Museum is a short drive away. Great art and gardens! And the Riverside Arts Market is nearby on Saturdays (local vendors selling all kinds of stuff and food!).

Downtown

400 N Hogan Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202

Downtown is definitely more spread out than other parts of town. Above is the address for Sweet Pete's, but you'll need to put the other places in to your GPS. Cool places: -Sweet Pete's! A huge, amazing candy store in a renovated, historic building. They also have a restaurant. -Chamblin's Bookmine for an overwhelming used book selection -Intuition Ale Works for local brewery action -Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) -Jacksonville Public Library (big and beautiful)

Beaches

2344 3rd Street S, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250

Above is the address for Jacksonville Beach. You can definitely get to the ocean this way, but it tends to be a little more crowded. There are also shops and restaurants in this area. Kristen and Ted prefer Atlantic Beach. Type 800 Seminole Rd into your GPS and head down Seminole Road until you see a Beach Access sign on the right. Atlantic Beach Town Center has yummy restaurants, too. Just walk around!
