FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony, which begins promptly at 2:00 PM, to allow ample time for parking and seating.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our attire is Semi-Formal. Aim for a refined look that’s comfortable for celebrating. Attire appropriate for the church ceremony is appreciated; reception will follow in a more relaxed and celebratory atmosphere. Kindly visit the attire page for more details and ideas.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a date or a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. You can confirm your party size and plus-one details when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love the little ones, we respectfully request no children at the event (with exceptions for our wedding party). We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you can still join us!

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones are silenced and put away during the Mass ceremony. We have an amazing photographer there to capture all the special moments. Feel free to take photos and videos after the ceremony!

Question

Do I need to participate in the religious parts of the Mass ceremony?

Answer

Not at all! While our Mass ceremony will include Catholic traditions that are meaningful to us, we warmly welcome guests of all beliefs. Your presence is what matters most—just feel free to observe and celebrate with us in a way that feels comfortable for you.

Question

Will there be food, drinks and dancing?

Answer

Come ready to eat, sip and celebrate—we’ve got delicious food, flowing drinks, and a dance floor waiting for you.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes—there will be an open bar, so drinks are on us! We kindly ask that you plan ahead and bring a designated driver or use a ride-share to get home safely. Cheers to celebrating responsibly!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

For the ceremony at St. Dominic, there is a dedicated parking lot next to the church. There is also ample free parking on the streets nearby. For the reception at Women’s Twentieth Century Club, there is both free and metered street parking across and in the neighborhood next to the venue. Please make sure to check the signs and meters.

Question

Will there be transportation provided between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided, but both venues are a short drive from one another. We recommend carpooling for convenience since there is only street parking at the reception venue.
